The static SIMD.%type%.and()
method returns a new instance with the logical AND of the lane values (a & b
). This operation exists only on integer and boolean SIMD types.

The bitwise AND operation only yields 1, if both a
and b
are 1. The truth table for the AND operation is:

For example, a bitwise AND of 5 & 1
results in 0001
which is 1 in decimal.
