animationend

The animationend event is fired when a CSS animation has completed (but not if it aborts before reaching completion, such as if the element becomes invisible or the animation is removed from the element).

Properties

Property Type Description
target Read only EventTarget The event target (the topmost target in the DOM tree).
type Read only DOMString The type of event.
bubbles Read only boolean Does the event normally bubble?
cancelable Read only boolean Is it possible to cancel the event?
animationName Read only DOMString The name of the CSS property associated with the transition.
elapsedTime Read only Float The amount of time the animation has been running, in seconds, as of the time the event fired, excluding any time the animation was paused. This should be the same as animation-iteration-count multiplied by animation-duration, which is known as the active duration of the animation.
