GlobalEventHandlers.onselectstart

The GlobalEventHandlers.onselectstart property represents the event handler that is called when a selectstart event reaches this object, i.e. when the user starts to make a new text selection on a web page.

Syntax

obj.onselectstart = function;

Example

document.onselectstart = function() {
  console.log("Selection started!");
};

[1] This is implemented behind the dom.select_events.enabled preference, which defaults to false except on Nightly.
