The CanvasRenderingContext2D.lineTo() method of the Canvas 2D API connects the last point in the sub-path to the x, y coordinates with a straight line (but does not actually draw it).
void ctx.lineTo(x, y);
xylineTo methodThis is just a simple code snippet which uses the lineTo method. Use the beginPath() to begin a path to draw a line on, move the pen with moveTo() and use the stroke() method to actually draw the line.
<canvas id="canvas"></canvas>
var canvas = document.getElementById('canvas');
var ctx = canvas.getContext('2d');
ctx.beginPath();
ctx.moveTo(50, 50);
ctx.lineTo(100, 100);
ctx.stroke();
