This is an experimental technology
Because this technology's specification has not stabilized, check the compatibility table for the proper prefixes to use in various browsers. Also note that the syntax and behavior of an experimental technology is subject to change in future versions of browsers as the spec changes.
The ::spelling-error
CSS pseudo-element represents a text segment which the browser has flagged as incorrectly spelled.
Only a small subset of CSS properties can be used in a rule using ::spelling-error
in its selector: color
, background-color
, cursor
, text-emphasis-color
, text-shadow
, outline
and its longhands, text-decoration
and its associated properties.
